community college in nyc not cuny?

<p>I am thinking about going back to school for the fall semester but it seems like all the community colleges in nyc affiliated with cuny closed admissions on 2/1/2011? Does anyone know of any community college that are within train distance from manhattan that I can apply to right now?</p>

<p>You can try WCC in Westchester County. They let you register for classes up until the first day of classes. You can take a train there, but it would be Metro North.</p>
