Community college students, where are you transferring?

Got into Davis, SD, LA, Cal & CALTECH. In the end, it comes down to CAL & CALTECH.

Should I go to UCSD and Berkeley, where should I go? I’m an econ major… help!

^^^ me too. I would say, berkeley. But SD’s econ is also solid!

Pepperdine University, waiting to hear back from USC!

gogogobears and sstory , wat r u guys’ GPA and EC’s ? do u guys do essay or any other stuffs?

Bennington College

Not the most selective school in the world, but it’s a hell of a step up from community college, with 1st year transfer and absolutely terrible HS stats (2.8 GPA RAWR!)

@amh2588: I am so jealous. UofM- Twin Cities. Lucky.

I will be at Cal though…cant complain.

I got in Seattle U, Northeastern U and USC, but waiting to hear back from Columbia U, Lehigh U, Fordham U and got rejected by WUSTL.

I also agree that the stereotypes on community colleges needs to end. I am very excited to say that I will be attending the Carlson School of Management at the U of Minnesota in the fall.

Was admitted to USC, will be turning down Berkeley. Go Trojans! :)

@ Yuta, why the decision to apply to SU? I’m from Seattle and I always wonder what draws OOS students to SU.

'cos I’m from Seattle too and SeattleU is my safety :D

I’m attending USC

Nice. I think I’ll apply to SU as a safety but my top choice tied with Pitzer is USC. Do you go to SCCC?

Accepted:
University of Florida
Georgetown
Cornell

Rejected:
Penn

Planning to attend:
Cornell (My 1st choice) ;)

No ^^ I went to Edmonds CC and since SeattleU is very generous with international students regarding scholarships, I gave it a go (I indeed dislike UW)

Glad to see that someone else in Seattle isn’t gaga over UW! Everyone thinks I’m silly for not wanting to go there but its so large and their program isn’t what I would want. What were your stats for USC?

Florida State University.

@ TheGoldFinch: My GPA is 3.81 and lots of extracurricular activities, volunteering and awesome recs ^^ Oh and an upward trend in my GPA too ( 0.0 for Pre-cal I …lol —> all 4.0 in Pre-cal II, Cal I, II, III)

Accepted to NYU, LMU, USC
Going to USC so freaking excited!!!

Cornell
and
The College Of New Jersey

will most definitely be attending Cornell :] :]

great thread, cheers to my guidance counselor who told me I’d never amount to anything because i went to a CC first :stuck_out_tongue: :P
