<p>I'm currently in L&S. Am I allowed to take one of the 7 course breadths at a community college during the summer? How about major pre-reqs? Will they count as long as I follow assist.org?</p>
<p>From what I can tell… you CAN take breadth equivalents at a local CC but I do not think they recommend (sometimes they do not even allow depending on your major) to take pre-req for your majors at CC.</p>
<p>You can take them as long as they correspond on assist.org. If there’s a corresponding course for it, then it will transfer over and satisfy that “course”. However like HelloAll said, some majors for whatever reasons may want you to take certain prerequisites and breadth courses at Cal, so definitely check on that as a precaution.</p>
