Has anyone already at Penn transferred community college course credits?

I'm planning on taking Microecon and Macroecon to get rid of ECON010 in freshman year of college, but the Office of Transfer Credit told me I would have to simply "take my shot" and find out if those two courses would count when I actually get to Wharton. I was accepted ED, so I have some free time to take these classes now, but I don't want to do them if they won't amount to anything.

So does anyone know whether the two courses I take at a community college would count or not?? They meet the requirements (i.e., over 36hrs, taught on campus, not an online course) and the courses sound like they fit the syllabus.. Microeconomics for ECON001 and Macroeconomics for ECON002?

My alternative is to take the AP tests, but I'm debating it, because it seems too late in the year to start studying..
