Community College transfer GPA with high school foreign language

Hello, so I am a current community college student in California and am planning to transfer to UC Irvine. For the IGETC requirement, it requires 2 years of foreign language, but I already fulfilled it by taking 4 years of Spanish in high school. My question is, do the grades that I got in the high school foreign language classes affect GPA calculation for when I transfer to UC Irvine? Or do the grades from the classes not matter towards GPA calculation and that they’re just for proof of completion? I was wondering if anyone has been in a similar scenario or has some information regarding this question. Thank You!

No, the high school grades don’t affect your CCC GPA. They count toward IGETC.

Just be sure to send your high school transcripts to your CCC.

Thank you
