Community college transfer student to NC state computer engineering

i am currently a student at a community college in NC. i am planning to apply for NC state. Particularly, i will apply for computer engineering. Currently my GPA is 4.00 and i am trying to take some EC here and there, and i am doing a part time job in my community college, and i just joined the engineering club in my CC.

i just wanted to know what should i do in the next year or two, to make sure that i stand the best chance to be admitted to NC state, and if someone has an experience transferring from a CC to NC state’s engineering school, i would love to know his or her experience.
Thank you.

Well, if you keep the 4.0 or close to that, I don’t think anything else will matter. If you get an AS or AE degree then all of your general education classes are completed and you transfer in as a junior. There are a couple of classes that you will want to take before you transfer. ECE109 is taught in Summer. You’ll want to take that at State before you get there. You can take it as an NDS student. But ask them, I don’t know a whole lot about electrical engineering.

Sign up for a wolfpaw account. Visit the school and go to a transfer session. Go to the engineering fair in March.
