Community College Transfer to UCLA and/or UCSD

Hello everybody,
I am planning to apply to transfer this Fall 2017. My major is Biochemistry or Molecular Cell Developmental Biology and I currently have a GPA of 3.51. I have 12 units this summer which I am sure will boost my GPA to hopefully at least a 3.60. I have approximately 20 more units these next two semesters, which will boost my GPA significantly, but I am aware that the university will not see those grades until my application has been accepted. I have no idea if I still have a chance of getting into UCLA so any feedback is helpful. UCSD is my second choice and I have TAG to UCI. I am also an Honor’s student which I believe is supposed to elevate my priority during admissions for UCLA. As for extracurriculars, I have volunteered as a 4th grade teaching assistant at my church every Sunday for 2 years. I have been a private tutor for the past 4 years. I currently am in the interview process for an teaching assistant position at my community college. I am hoping to be admitted into the COPE Scholars Program this Fall (November 1) which will allow me to put it on my application and I am applying this week to begin volunteering at my local hospital.
Please and thank you all for your time!
