My first 2 years at a community college, I completely messed up. lets just say i dropped/failed every class for 2 years. and Only received transferable credits for 3 classes. I transfered to another community college this fall. I took five classes and made 2 A's and 2 B's and C. Next semester (spring), i am taking five classes again and im sure I will make all A's and B's. After This upcoming spring semester, ill have all the credits and gpa will be around a 3.4 from my calculations. I will be able to transfer to a 4-year university. I am worried that when i start applying (which i have to do ASAP) for Next year admission into the fall semester, the admissions officers will look at my past transcripts from the two years i wasnt serious about school and think i am a Joke. I will do my best to explain my horrible transcript in the admissions essay. But I know they will receive my transcript from my first community college first and then after the semester is over, i will send my transcript from my new school. Point is, they will see my bad transcript first and im just so worried they will discard my entire application or something, i dont know. I just need help to know if I even have a chance of getting into a four year even after my two years of destroying my transcript.
