Community college Transfer

<p>Ok so I live in Louisiana and attend a community college and am looking to transfer to a school with a screenwriting program. I am currently in my second semester and upon completion will be able to transfer to a university. I did quite poorly in high school but have been doing fairly well (3.80 gpa) so far in community college. Should I attend the university directly linked to my community college first before trying to go to a film school in la? If not, What are some well credentialed film programs in la that aren't particularly competitive?</p>
