@hillarydufflebag Applied to BU but haven’t heard back. my high school messed up my transcript so the AO told me I probably wont find out until May
@hillarydufflebag What type of aid package did they give you if you don’t mind? Anything at all?
@CStransfer123987 BU gave me an extremely weak package lol, I will definitely not be attending
So where is everyone going?!?! I just committed to Tulane!
I committed to Georgetown!
Berkeley!!! Go Bears ?

Major: Global Health
High School GPA: 3.8 unweighted // 4.9 weighted
College GPA: 3.96 (~75 credits)

ECs: A lot, my strongest asset honestly – but I don’t feel comfortable sharing specifics. Lots of community service projects about health issues, worked with a former president on developing solutions to obesity in America, PTK, global citizenship ECs, academic seminars centered around global issues, shadowing experience, president of a health inequality club, and paid undergraduate research.
Letters of Rec: I had 8 letters from college professors and picked the best 4. 2 letters from physicians I shadowed and did research with and 1 from my academic advisor.
Accepted: Swarthmore, Cornell, UPenn, USC, Emory, UM, UNC: Chapel Hill, NYU, Tulane, and GWU
Rejected: Stanford, Johns’ Hopkins, Boston College, Northwestern
Waitlisted: Duke, Columbia, Vanderbilt
Attending: Georgetown – Go Hoyas!! So excited. It was my dream school from the beginning.
Good luck to future CC applicants. Do not let anyone tell you that CC transfers can’t make it out of state. CC was amazing for me personally and I would do it all over again if I had to. Stay positive – also if you’re low-income I would apply to the Jack Kent Cooke scholarship. It’s a $40,000 annual scholarship that totals up to $120,000 for undergrad and $75,000 for grad. It is only for CC transfers, please apply!
