Hi everyone, I recently found out I was in the running for valedictorian of my community college. They are interviewing the candidates and will choose from there. I have a 4.0 gpa and a compelling story about obstacles I have overcome. However, I get really nervous during interviews and speeches, so I'm not sure if I want to pursue it.

I guess my questions are:

1) Is this a big enough deal that I will regret not going for it?

2) Do I have a chance even though I have no community service or school involvement?

2) What kind of questions do you think the panel will ask during the interview?

Thanks for your time!
