I’m in my sophomore year and I’ve been attending high school part time while taking classes at my local community college. My school is getting rid of its part-time program next year and I am thinking about transferring into community college full time for my junior and senior years. Would this hurt my college applications or help them?
*Any other thoughts/ bits of advice are welcome.
That is a strange question with a strange answer. I would say that it really depends on the rigor of the community college and what you want to do. There is no clear cut answer. I go to an academy and also am dual enrolled at a CC. I take H. physics, H. Economics, Engineering Tech, and English at the academy, and Multivariable Calculus and English composition at the CC. A mix is good, but the college does give a lot of opportunities.
