if you are a urm, you may be shooting low. gtown is not much of a reach for you. even better if the philandering hypocrite you interned with knew you well enough to put in a call or write a personal letter on your behalf

oh my, if you could get those SAT scores up by about 100 pts per section 9maybe not even that much) you could go ivy league and all. I know it. Your ECs seem so interesting and not like everyone elses. I really think you'd be the Stanford type.

I think you will get into most, if not all the schools on your list. You should apply to your dream school if it is not one already on your list. You have a shot anywhere.

I got into UMD Colli Park and an invitation into the CIVICUS program... It was weird though because I found out this weekend even though I applied regular decision........don't know what that was about but I am very happy................

Oh yeah, sorry about the Title of the thread, I do not really think that I am going to community college, it's just that seeing all the other amazing students on this site freaks me out and makes me think that I won't get into any college..............

and bobbobbob..
what do you mean by that??????

he means that with your stats, you could get in Anywhere you wanted. I agree... you are a single-parent refugee who acted in a play that traveled the World for 2.5 years, and you have high rankings in nationally sponsored organizations (NHS) ...you are most likely a shoo in....
