If I don't get into UCLA or UCB, should I just go to cc and transfer later? I want to major in economics or finance and accounting

Why not try another university, like a mid-tier UC? But if you’re set on them, CC transfer isn’t that hard and Merced has a transfer program, where if you’re accepted to the program, you’re guaranteed to transfer to UCLA … but you might want to just go to a CC.

I suppose it also depends on your financial circumstances as well as whether you feel you can adjust to an actual universities rigor/environment after spending two years at a cc.
