How many credits can you get in high school before colleges count you as a transfer?

Most universities put a cap at 60 credits for Community College transfer.

wait, so does that mean i can get 60 credits at my community college during high school, but still apply to the top colleges as an incoming freshman?

Most Ivies would allow you to apply, however nothing would transfer. If you were accepted you wouldn't have any more credits than anyone other freshman.

oh that's fine, okay so lik 60 credits are okay.., thanks!

Check that out first. Many colleges say that if you have over X amount of credits, you have to apply as a transfer. Check with them.

oh, so i should check with each specific college i want to apply to?

Yes... however you might end up applying transfer at everywhere but the ivies.

oh, so like what about non-ivy school's?? how many credits would usually be countd as a transfer?

^ Just check their policies!
