Community Colleges Classes in HS

I'm taking a community college class in 10th grade and will probably get a B. If that happens, how will it affect my chances for admission into a top college like Harvard(All my other grades are As(toughest course load in the school, 4.6 GPA), and I have excellent extra curriculars. Is it possible to withhold the Community College grade?

Depends. What’s the class?

It’s calculus. I want do finance or computer science, or something related to math. It’s just that the teacher was really hard, and almost nobody got A’s.

elated -

The simple fact is that it is very common for “almost nobody” to get an A in calculus no matter where it is taught. It is not an easy course. Don’t worry about one B wrecking your chances of college admission.

Yes you will need to send an official copy of your community college transcript when you apply to college. You will also need to send one when you apply to grad school someday, so don’t lose the information about how to request those transcripts.

Confirmed: I did get a B, as I thought, missing an A by 2 points(I thought it would be more). Would a B in a community college class hurt me more than a B in a regular high school AP class? I took the AP Calculus BC exam and am pretty confident I got a 5, so would that cancel out this B?
Thanks.
