Community Colleges Close to UCLA

What are some community colleges close to ucla? (bus ride from campus)
I'm thinking of taking some classes there and transferring them over.

they wont accept coursework taken concurrently while enrolled at UCLA.

but SMC is probably the closest.

What does that mean? So I can't take a class at UCLA and SMC at the same time?

nope.

well i guess you can take them if you want. but UCLA wont give you any credit for them.

yes you can't if you enroll at UCLA from this quarter the only units count for this quarter are the ones that you received from UCLA

SMC and PCC have the highest transfer rates to USC and UCLA

Hi everyone. I have a quick question about summer school classes at community college. I want to take a stats or econ class during the summer at my local community college, but I'm over the 105 unit max. I'm taking those classes because they are pre-health requirements so will pre-health schools acknowledge that I took them, even though I won't be receiving units for them at UCLA? Thanks!

you can take classes concurrently during the summer, just as long as they don’t overlap with the spring or fall quarters.

…he asked that question over a year ago.

… >_>

at least he searched? lol…
