<p>Does community service done in your younger years count for anything? Or do admission officers only care about what you did in High School only specifically?
I mean the community service Im talking about was completely voluntary by me, I wasn't forced by my parents or anything. I just want to know if community service done prior to your high school career counts for anything at all.</p>
<p>My applications only asked for activities for each year from 9th through 12th. But the experience you gain and skills you learn through volunteering (whatever it is) will surely translate to a better person and thus a better applicant :)</p>

<p>Not that I’m trying to butter up my application with a million minor things, but I just wanted to know that the things I’ve done prior to high school were not in vain haha.</p>
