Community service on app question

So I am trying to figure out an acceptable number of service hours to put on my app. My catholic high school requires me to do service hours, and through that exclusively I have 75 hours.

But now it gets complicated. I went to the march for life in Washington DC, a 2 day series of events and enormous march in DC against abortion. My school said they would count that for an additional 10 hours of service, for my student service. Would this be considered community service for colleges? and if so then would it not be considered about 50 hours on its own?

And outside of school over the years I have done at least another 100 hours of community service...

So my question is, how do I record community service on my app? Say I have 75 hours that I have on file at school. or say over 200 that I have done through my life? or like 150 that I have done exclusively in my high school years?

I know I'm making it more confusing than it needs to be, but I dunno how serious they take that stuff on apps? What should I put?

Are you saying that the whole trip to D.C. took about 50 hours? To me, a protest is very different from actually helping the community, so no, I would not, under any circumstances, consider that community service. You definitely cannot count the entire duration of the trip, anyway.

Have you volunteered a significant number of hours with a particular organization? If so, I would report that separately. If you are just reporting your amount of assorted community service hours, I guess just throw it all together. Do not report service you performed prior to high school, though.

Unless you have been involved with one specific organization, I don’t think 100 random assorted community service hours will matter much anyway, so it’s probably nothing to stress out over.
