community service

<p>Does admissions dept at Clark really look at community service work for admission? Do they look beyond SAT numbers?</p>

<p>Yes, they take into account community service and extra curriculars highly into account I have noticed. I currently go to Clark and everyone I have talked to we all seem to agree that community service and extra curriculars definatly made a big impact.</p>

<p>According to the the Princeton Review's "The Best 366 Colleges" 2008 edition, "very important factors considered include": academic GPA, character/personal qualities, rec, rigor of secondary school record, and standardized test scores. "Important factors considered" include: application essay, extracurricular activities, talent/ability, and volunteer work. "Other factors" were things like legacy, race, where you're from, etc. I hope this helps!</p>
