<p>Do colleges weigh all types of community service equally? Hypothetically speaking, if I were to apply to a UC, and I had 200 community service hours from tutoring students in photography, how would that be viewed by them? Thanks in advance for any help…</p>
<p>As far as I know, UCSD does not care where you did your hours, as long as you have 200 hours, you will get points from their point system. </p>
<p>I am not sure about the other UC’s.</p>
<p>Also, do I have to submit the community service hours to my school in order for them to be valid?</p>
