Commuter social life question

<p>Is it normal to commute to school just to be socializing? </p>

<p>I'm half way through the first year and still have barely any social life. I can't be patient, I'm a transfer student and only have 2 years to try to get some kind of normal experience, something I'm on the verge of giving up on.</p>

<p>My college is split between two campuses and it seems that every single club has meetings that are either during my class time, or at the other campus - I can't get there in time unless I ditch class. </p>

<p>But there are clubs that meet on Fridays when there isn't class. It just feels unnatural for me to be commuting there for this reason only.</p>

<p>Yeah it’s pretty normal. I know a few people who commute but they still spend a lot of time on campus. If you can, I think you should definitely try to go to the clubs that meet on Friday. It feels weird at first but if you do it long enough it’ll start to become normal.</p>
