<p>I was accepted to NYU Poly and I was wondering how the social life is for commuter student there? I know it's not a 'traditional campus', but would I be missing much if I we're to commute from home (45 minutes away)? or is it worth the money to dorm at least for the first year?

<p>Since NYU Poly is at Brooklyn, I don’t think you’ll be missing much if you’re commuting.
If its the main campus in Manhattan, then yes.</p>
<p>There are many commuters to both campuses, so you’ll be fine, you might just have to put in some extra effort to make friends the first year</p>
