I have heard that US government is really easy, but what about Comp?
What would you say the difficulty of it is and what books are the best for self study? My school only offers US, but I really dont care about american politics and would be much interested in studying the big picture of all types of government.

Comp Gov is definitely an easier test. For one, the material tends to be somewhat more fact-oriented, since it's comparing different forms of government rather than explaining in detail the dynamics of individual country, but the test itself is also just a much easier test, with a lot of dopey questions and a nicer curve.
