Comp Sci A.B vs. Comp. Sci. BSE ...

Could any one clarify the distinctions between the two? Any additional information regarding this would be appreciated

Haha. BSE is more popular, because although in total it requires you take more classes, the classes are more bent towards math and science classes. On the other hand, the AB track makes you take more humanities courses, but a lower total number of distribution requirements.

As far as the computer science you learn, they are identical - you take the same classes. The difference is in the other classes you take.

thanks for the response. I’m asking because I’m not sure if I should apply as just B.A interest or engineering interest. If I did the latter, I’d really only be able to talk about my interest in computer science research for their engineering essay which I’m not sure would satisfactorily answer their question about my interest in engineering in general (plus the fact that they would take note of my horrid 670 physics sat ii score, which I am taking again anyways). So any suggestions?
