Comp.Sci at LACs

I would like to know whether grad schools will look down upon a BA in comp sci from one of the top LACs as compared to a BS.

Also is it a good idea to pursue Comp Sci at an LAC (where few students are interested in science courses) as compared to larger universities.

bump...........

Comp Sci at Harvey Mudd is better than at most universities...

but doesnt HMC offer a BS? I meant (im sure anirudh too) .. universities like Colgate, Amherst, Macalester etcc... that dont have engineering depts

If you plan on going to grad school, you should definitely get a BS. The course requirements for a BA are much less rigorous, judging from those of UDel. I doubt a BA would provide sufficient preparation for grad school.

B.A is great if ir not amazing in the math. My advisior says some employers strictly want B.S

judging by who is enrolling in harvey mudd comp sci next year, hmc comp sci will be extremely strong next year.
