Comp Sci BS/MS concentration

Anyone have any idea what CS specialization that is in high demand that I should concentrate on for my BS and MS?

After you take the prerequisite courses (intro, data structures, math, etc.), consider the following if you are looking for usefulness in software development industry jobs.

Highest priority – concepts used very commonly in industry jobs:
Operating Systems
Algorithms and Intro Theory
Software Engineering
Networking

Second priority – concepts may be used occasionally, or commonly in some areas:
Databases
User Interfaces
Compilers
Graphics
Security
Digital Design
Computer Architecture

Lowest priority – take if you are interested and have free elective space:
additional theory courses
Artificial Intelligence

If your goal is something else besides general software development (e.g. some specialty, or hardware, or IT), then the course selection will be different. However, being capable of general software development (even if you want to do some specialty) will likely give the best initial job opportunities.
