comp sci major - what is a good frat (or not)?

For a computer science major - college of engineering - WHat are the advantages and disadvantages of joing a fraternity and when does one usually do this?

Which are the best ones to join? Do they all do .. what is the practice, hazing... and doing ludicrous things such as holding a chicken in your dorm room? Do they all do the toga thing? If you can get $1.1B out of it, it might be a good idea -- or even $65M :)

My son recvd an email today from Sigma Phi Delta to attend something called Engineers-In-Training (EIT) this Friday at the admitted students doing.

Anyone know anything about this org?

Conversely, if a compsci / eng student does not join a frat , might that person feel out of place or will he have plenty of company? University wide, I believe I saw a stat that there is 50 pct participation in frats. don't know what it is in the coll of engineering.
