I’m trying to find more information about the computer science minor at UCB. Does anyone here have any experience with the course material? I want to know if I will be adequately prepared for a job in the tech industry if I minor in CS. I was admitted for my alternate major (CRS) and am trying to decide if I should attend UCB and minor in computer science or attend UCI majoring in Informatics. I eventually want to work and live in Norcal and think there is something to be said for internship opportunities and connections if I went to UCB. Any input is appreciated 
On the UC application, I don’t remember you could select an alternate major for Berkeley.
I meant alternate compared to a tech related major like Informatics at UCI. Sorry for the confusion.
