<p>I asked the same question to couple friends of mine (class of 05 and 06)...they just told me that with changing company officers and firsties, the company attitude/atmosphere will vary from year to year.</p>
<p>One did say that a company may be relatively laid back during the year, but may go overboard during Plebe Summer. Since there's really nothing you can do about what company you're in, I wouldn't worry about it too much.</p>
<p>My boyfriend Eric is in I company 18 platoon along with Jake... so that means hes in 18th company for the year? I'm confused..</p>

<p>That's correct. One Plebe Summer company is split into two AC year companies. Notice that the summer companies are split into two platoons. Those platoon numbers will become your AC year company.</p>
