<p>What are the admission rates for the Comparative Literature and English majors at the UC's? (I am mostly concerned with UCSB, but I'd like to know about UCB and all others as well). </p>
<p>I am:</p>
<p>short 2 major prereqs (fourth semester of Japanese and Shakespeare) in English</p>
<p>AND</p>
<p>short 1 major prereq (fourth semester of Japanese) in Comparative Literature</p>
<p>I also have a 3.0-3.1 GPA, in state transfer, excellent essays & EC's (I work full time at a publishing company and have worked freelance copyediting jobs). </p>
<p>I have an equal passion for both majors so I am by no means trying to find a "back door" way in but in choosing my classes for next fall tomorrow I'd like to know which path I should pursue given my current status. I'd really like to apply as a double major between the two, is that possible on the UC app?</p>
