I was wondering if in comparative literature classes it was necessary to get the exact version of the book that the professor asked for. From your experience, have other versions been okay? Do you guys generally buy all of the books or borrow them/etc?

I wouldn’t buy all the books at once (but it when you need it). And the exact version isn’t necessary but more convenient. You can also borrow them from YRL (if they have it) and pay nothing :P
