Compare/contrast stats of update vs no update

<p>So, if you guys don't mind putting up some stats (don't have to be too complicated) and your status that would be great!</p>

<p>Sorry if mine are a bit disorganized.</p>

<p>GPA (7 Semesters, UW): 3.65
GPA (7 Semesters, W): 3.78
[NOTE THERE IS ONLY ONE HONORS CLASS AND THREE AP CLASSES AVAILABLE AT MY SCHOOL]</p>

<p>SAT: 2230 (CR 680, M 800, W 750; E 8 MC 78)</p>

<p>SAT IIs: Math Level 2: 750, Literature: 700, Chemistry 530 (i know...sad...), Physics 570 (sad too...)</p>

<p>ACT: 35</p>

<p>ECs: I did as much as I could. I believe it shows more balance than it does time spent.
Community Service: Not THAT much. I was scoreboard operator for a while. Miscellaneous projects.</p>

<p>ESSAYS: The main one was amazing in my opinion. People who read it really like it. Both my dad and I like it the more we read it. Employs a stream of consciousness in one paragraph that was very effective. </p>

<p>TEACHER RECOMMENDATIONS: Excellent</p>

<p>COUNSELOR: Does USC request that? If so, she marks the general box at the highest it can go.</p>

<p>MIDYEAR GRADES WERE REQUESTED
Semester 6 GPA W: 3.5
Semester 7 GPA W: 4.0 (believe it or not it was much more rigorous)</p>

<p>STATUS: 3/25 your application is in review, ect.</p>

SAT IIs: Math II: 550, World History: 580, Lit: 650, French w/ Listening: 610</p>

<p>ECs:
- Violin for 10 years, now teach it, have won competitions and played in orchestra as well as participated in school concerts
- Internship as Marketing Director for an international company (my aunt's), which is what I basically want to do...
- A ton of travel experience (I'm aiming for international business
- A LOT of volunteer work at home and abroad, teaching English, building schools, running programs etc...
- Trilingual, learning my 4th and 5th language
- Skipped two grades, graduating at 16
- Huge upward grade trend, reasons explained in essay...
- Had a really good interview!</p>

<p>ESSAYS: Really good, conveyed my passion for what I want to do</p>

<p>TEACHER RECOMMENDATIONS: "Award winning" haha</p>

<p>COUNSELOR: Amaaazing.</p>

<p>ETHNICITY: Half asian.</p>

<p>Senior Grades: 3.75/4 (UW/W)</p>
