Compare SAT Practice to Actual

I saw a post about this but can't find it.

For those of you who used the College Board practice test book, how did your actual scores compare?

I am particularly interested in the Critical Reading section.

I was getting 750’s to 780’s on the practice tests i took, and I ended up with an 800 on the actual SAT. Most of the difference is due to the curve, which depends on how “hard” the section is on a given test. So overall I would say that the practice test was pretty accurate.

Thanks, that helps!

yeah, I got similar, maybe better marks too… In the test I stress and focus properly. This def happened in my SAT 2’s. Was nowhere near ready, had only done about 5 practice questions for lit and got 790 for it and 800 for maths 2 and physics!

consistent 1930s-2090s… 1960 on test.

Practice scores (average):

670 CR My scores were all over the place: 600-740.
770 W
560 M

Actual scores:
630 CR
610 M
720 W 47/49 and 8/12… Damn the essay.

jumped from 1510—> 1960

CB’s bb is a very good prediction to the real score.
