My decsion is coming down to these two colleges. I can research all the academic stuff I want so I don't want any academic rankings and whatnot in this discussion. I just want the social life to be compared. Aka greek life, football games, bball games, nightlife, surounding areas, places to go, anything really

bump. anyone?

ok one last try for responses. andddddd go

Have you visited either campus?

They are both pretty similar. UNC is generally better at sports (ie football and basketball). Both schools are in great college towns and place a large importance on greek life. I’d visit both and see how you feel.

Although UVA has beaten us in basketball this year. And football the last few years. -_-

I think Greek life is a bigger deal at UVA – a higher percentage of students are involved, and the hierarchy, if you will, can be a factor. There’s a lot more going on off-campus in Chapel Hill and environs than there is in Charlottesville.

Still-overall, UNC’s football and basketball teams are much better than UVA’s.
