Hey guys,

Im having a dilemma here. Ive got into two great colleges -- Ga Tech and Harvey Mudd -- and I'm not sure which one would be better for me. I'm primarily concerned in job opportunities (I'm an international student) and overall college life.

Does anyone have any opinions on this?

HMC offers only a general engineering while GAtech offers specialisation. You should consider this. But still HMC grads are well sought after in the industry if you take a look at the job opportunites. Prestigewise especially internationally, GTech holds more clout

Georgia Tech is a major research university with an international reputation. Harvey Mudd is an excellent school with a great reputation among employers and graduate programs in the United States. They have different sizes and a very different feel and you need to decide based on where you feel most comfortable.

If you’re from anywhere in Asia, georgiatech for job opportunities hands down.

I live in SE Asia, and trust me, despite the fact that Harvey Mudd is an amazing school, few people here have heard of it. The gatech brand name opens engineering doors for you, definitely !

I am from India and only few people have heard of HMC while everyone has heard of GTech. But If you are planning on working in the US, HMC will not put you at a disadvantage.
