Comparitive toughness of SAT 2s

How would you compare the SAT 2 Biology vs. US History vs Chem vs. Math etc etc..? On a scale of 1-10...

Also...ha..I was just wondering....where are you guys from?
Orange County, California
=P best place in the worlddd

I would say it depends on what you are good at and what your relative strengths are.

alright thanks
which ones have you taken?

None, which is why I didn't give a more specific answer. :O

Chem 8 (never taken it but ive heard its tough)
Bio M 6 (well im biased cause i 800'ed it. but maybe a 6)
Bio E 7 (its a little weirder than M)
Writing 7 (tough to 800)
USH 9 (ive heard its hard and asks really dumb questions)
Math IC 9 (evil curve)
IIC 5 (its not hard + nice curve)

Physics is supposed to be hard too. And world history is supposed to be a killer. Anyone know why WH is held only twice a year?

Bio (2, easy)
Writing (3, easy)
Math IIC (6, supposedly easy & generous curve, but i think it's hard)
Math IC (5 easier than IIC, but not-so-nice curve)
USH (8, never took it, but my friend said it was hard cuz they ask a bunch of questions on small specific details)
Physics (1, everyone i know did really well on it)

Hey I Live In The Oc!!! Where Do U Live???

I live in Laguna Niguel which is like a second away from Dana point

"Anyone know why WH is held only twice a year?"

Because almost no one takes it.

World History IS a killer! I took it in summer of 10th grade, after studying for AP World History exam (in which i easily got a 5), and i studying nonstop for two weeks, and i only managed a 750! do not take it unless you're a history nerd

anyways..here's what i've taken:

Math IIC (1, easiet by far)
Physics (4, not hard to get above 750)
Writing (7, hard for me cuz i'm not a native speaker, came here four years ago)
World History (10, you're screwed if ur not awesome in history)

Physics definitely the hardest. Writing, the easiest. But that's me!

it definitely depends mostly on what you're good at.

personally, i found both writing and math iic to be the most difficult. (but many people here surely disagree)

"and i only managed a 750!"
oh no, just a 750????!?
jeez

In her defense, she got a 5 on the AP Exam, had taken the AP class, and studied "nonstop" for two weeks. It wouldn't be insanity to expect more than a 750. Nonetheless, I agree that she should be proud of her score.

I am not surprised that he got a 750. AP World is not adequate preparation for that test. The SAT II is more the equivalent of AP Euro than World.

750 is definitely grounds for retakage.

so I'm going to be taking the US sat...is it just hard because it's really detailed or is there more to it?

And I would probably give Bio a 5
haven't taken anything else yet

M1st
I live in Orange the city haha but we're..semi close? =)

"so I'm going to be taking the US sat...is it just hard because it's really detailed or is there more to it? "

Well I took the US history last year. It has a lot of hard questions on it, not just small details but stupid questions in general. One asked "what decade did the honeymooners air"... give me a break.

However, do not be too discoraged if you know your history, the curve is very generous. I managed to pull a 770 on that test when I missed a decent number of questions!!! Oh and if you REALLY have no idea then you should defineately omit on this test.

theleet, a 750 is more than fine. Retakeage is not even a word.
