Comparitive toughness of SAT 2s

I read that you just said you would retake it. IMO, 750 is not "bad". I would never call it bad. I really don't think it is. However, I don't see a problem with retaking it.

I guess it was a problem with my perception of your comment.

anything 750 or above is good enough. except for math 2c...if you are a math person.

First of all, it's HE (notice: Paulhomework, not Paulahomework). Anyways, 750 is definitely not a bad score, and i'd have to be on crack to retake it. I'm just saying that, in relation to how much i had studied for it, World History SAT II was very tough. For example, I have only taken honors physics, and didn't study much, and i managed 760. I only took a practice test and got an 800 on math iic in 10th grade.

BUT for history i studied a whole freakin year. I studied my ass off w/ princeton review, barrons, ap world history book, etc. and i got 750. Now don't get me wrong it's an awesome score and i'll definitely write it on my apps, but it's just not as rewarding as other test. It is not economically "efficient"

I hate the frickin SAT II Chem, i have to study hella for it

To my perception (though I am a math person):

Writing 8 (lots of stuff to know, easy to make mistakes)
World History 4 (not difficult if you know the major trends)
Math IIC 2 (very nice curve)
Chemisty 6 (lots of specifics, but concepts are very basic)
Physics 1 (requires only surface understanding of a few simple ideas)

My scores were 790-780-800-800-800, so I nearly aced all of them... the ratings are about how much effort I felt like it took to do so. I would say Writing is the only one that really requires a thorough understanding of the topic, whereas with all the others you can get a away with a tenuous grasp of some basic concepts.

good job fueler those are great scores =)
question though...I'm in Ap Chem right now and I'm not doing well...would you recommend that I just skip taking the AP and SAt2 or should I just try and see where it gets me?
