<p>Do JHU admissions officers have any preference in selection concerning in school competition? I am asking this because I applied ED and four of my friends also applied ED. So does having 4 classmates applying ED as well have any affect on my own chances of getting in? </p>

<p>Of course this effects your chances, but I’m sure Hopkins doesn’t limit the amount of accepted students per school. In the long run, 4 classmates means 4 more applicants in the pool of over 1300 to compete with.</p>
<p>Doesn’t affect your own chance of getting in significantly. If anything, it means that they’ll be familiar with your HS.</p>
