Hey everyone. I'm debating whether to apply to programs I "like", or waiting a year to gain more experience through my senior year and try to get into a couple of the top schools I'm interested in (specifically Stanford and Duke). I don't actually have any experience working on a project of my own, but only helping out on a project. I will most likely have another years experience if I wait a year since I could work with a prof on campus.

So, should I just apply this year without much to talk about in terms of my own projects and see what happens, or wait a year and try for the tougher schools? Is it hard to get into these programs without a Masters w/Thesis? Thanks!
