Hello. Been a while since I Posted. Anyways, I want to ask 3 questions:
1st am I a competitive applicant for Texas A&M Dwight School of Engineering? What should I do to improve myself before senior year?
Next my English teacher is making us right a essay that we would submit to the college of our choice(just for fun, not to send in). Which of my extracurricular would you recommend I do (or don’t) mention in my essay? I don’t want to sound like someone who does a million things. Here is A&M’s Prompt.
“Describe a setting in which you have collaborated or interacted with people whose experiences and/or beliefs differ from yours. Address your initial feelings, and how those feelings were or were not changed by this experience.”

- Plan to make it to State for the first time in 8 years
- Perfect scores on Math and Science (topic was energy)
- Ranking winning regional for the first time in 6 years last year

- I have real work experience building and rigging sets
- Was a telecommunications and mechanical engineer intern

- Joined the American Writers Association
- Placed top 4 schools in Northeast Texas at first competition
