<p>Does Georgetown have a competitive academic atmosphere or is it more laid back?</p>
<p>My high school was very competitive about academics, but I did not experience that at all at Georgetown. I don’t think I had a single conversation about grades in my entire four years. I didn’t even know my roommates GPAs. I just had a vague idea based on where they got into grad school or what honors they graduated with. It’s more competitive extracurricularly IMO. Who has the internships, the number of activities, the leadership etc…</p>
<p>It depends… definitely both camps present at Georgetown…</p>
<p>The business school (which I can speak for) definitely has its share of ultra-competitive, Wall Street bound kids, but it also houses some of the most chilled kids I’ve ever met… so definitely both types of environment here…</p>
