<p>I found luvthej’s opinion very interesting. Although high performance in gaining PhD or admission to competitive grad program is attractive indicator in choosing uni, I’m more attracted to things about research, particularly how many/often papers are published. Unless I can write/cowrite a nice paper, I cannot become a competitive researcher, so publication of excellent paper is far more important than what school I attend.</p>
