Hello, here are my quick stats, please tell me my chances.

White male, Manhattan island.
GPA: 2.05 (one C+ in 9th grade in Commercial Art -- luck on one of the finals), weighted: 2.05.
SAT: 700/2400.
Courses: dropped school after 10th grade, took review of ariphmetics in 10th.

Extracurriculars:
- I import drugs from North Korea and sell them here.
- I help out guys with cheating on their tests, secretly passing notes and adding medicals to teachers' bewarages to make them sleep.

Leadership:
- I have founded and been a president of international illegal drug transportation company.

Awards:
- "You r Da Man Daaawg!" award by Nick "Broken Leg" from South Bronx.

So how do you think I look? Should I apply to other U's or I have solid chances at H?

Im pretty sure he's the guy that hands out rolling papers with his number on them in front of the Natural History Museum. (Swear to God, some kid actually does this).

GPA: your GPA isn't so good, I'm afraid. At least not for Harvard. In fact I really don't think anyone can get into Harvard with that kind of GPA. Sorry I don't mean to be harsh.

SAT: is 700 for one section or 3 sections? If it's for 3 sections then it is well below the Harvard SAT average, and like I said, I don't think anyone gets into Harvard with a 700.

Course: Gee, I really don't know if you can apply to Harvard without junior grades. Doesn't Harvard require a certain number of years in certain subjects? You should consult its website to see if you are eligible to apply at www.harvard.edu

ECs: Well, your ECs are certainly interesting, but they seem to be illegal. It's a risk to mention that on your application because you never know the beliefs of the admissions officer reading it and you could rub him/her the wrong way. I personally wouldn't risk writing those ECs. Maybe you could come up with some other ones?

Leadership: Founding a company definitely earns you brownie points! Like I said though, I don't know how an admissions officer would feel about an illegal company. Maybe you could rephrase it, like "I founded an international transportation company that handles a multitude of tasks."

Awards: I don't know if that even counts. I think Harvard is looking for academic awards. It wouldn't hurt to put it on there....I guess?

Chances: well, I don't know. Your chances don't look so good. Maybe you should look into a community college, transfer into a four-year university, build up a good college transcript, and think about applying to Harvard graduate school. Good luck!
