<p>I was just wondering whether my friend has a shot at a competitive science research program in Manhattan (Rockefeller Universitys Science Outreach). He is reluctant to send his transcript as he has had a B in Earth Science and C in advanced math 9th grade. However, this was due to the fact that he had recently moved from another state. All of his other grades are in the 90s and his overall gpa is good. He has awesome reccommendations, and wrote a killer essay. Does he still have a shot at this or any other competitive science program. He loves science. Also his dad works at the University where hes applying. Please reply. Thanks</p>
