<p>I just want to reiterate that it had to be financial decisions, because the other choice was parents and parents weren't mentioned at all in the passage. If the choice was 'adults', there could be a fair argument, but parents weren't even in the passage.</p>
<p>For the drilling incident question, I don't know for sure but I myself put fortuitous. dictionary.com sez fortuitous is:</p>
