Compilation Of Correct Answers (cr)

Also why would attracting adults BE successful? adults are boring anyways :p

alright i got -2 so far >.< hope it will STAYYY that way. any more answers?

^ The question was 'according to the author'... blah blah circus success, and I think he/she placed a lot of emphasis on the new tradition thing... in which he/she said that not only was the circus able to bypass the animal-in-circus norm, but also gain popularity (I don't remember the exact words) by attracting an extensive crowd of not only children but adults also. (Yes it didn't say parents SPECIFICALLY, but aren't all parents adults?... No, not all adults are parents... but it said parents... who are adults... and that's what the passage said, plus the passage mentioned adults along side the mention of children... which does bring 'parents' to mind).

I'm double minded about this question though.
I'm hoping it's adults. :p

@giantsfan - No problem, glad you get it... (by that I don't mean to say I'm glad you didn't get it...)... if you know what I mean, lol.

I am assuming the majority of the other questions that we don't have on our list are the easier ones... and we probably all blew through those so we are not as likely to remember what they were....

lol yeah...

yeah.. lol.. financial decisions is probably the right answer.. but still I am hoping it magically turns out to be parents...;p

what would about a -4 be?

^ But sometimes the trick with easy questions are that they're too easy...
Like that rocks one...
I still can't believe it was on the SAT.
O_o

i totally agree. was that the actual answer?

I don't know.. usually I'm prone to making a dumb mistake on some Math questions but CR I generally get the easy questions right...

yeah but...financial decisions makes ABSOLUTE PERFECT SENSE to me. Like, no question about it...i can't imagine any explanation that might trump it. i guess it's an intuitive thing. but still :p

^ Yes. That's what their intention was... to make us spend more time on it by slipping an easy question at the end.
Ugh, I hate it. Because I did spend like 2/3 mins thinking about it. >_<

3 mins? lol.. I just knew that they both were painted on rocks cause that's what was said in the passages and moved on...

edit: wait, were you talking about the parents/financial question?

^ I was panicking at the end (omitted like 2 questions the less evenhanded and stuff)... because I just had ~5 mins left for the passages. So, I wanted to get AT LEAST 1 right... rather than getting them ALL wrong. UnowahImean? ;)

no, the parents/financial question

i didn't even think about the rock question. in fact, my motto for taking SATs is: never think. just answer the friggin' question.

there are much harder things you know. especially in math -_- :p

I see you both put 'parents' before financial...
eh eh?

:p

Having a change of mind here, are we?
(JK)

hahahaha

no.

:)

Okay. Does anyone remember what 'people publicly denounced' question about??? we've got some smart people now.

lol. You guys..

it sounds familiar. but no

lol.. I put parents but .. yeah... I just saw the general focus of the passage was on adults and just put down parents without realizing that parents doesn't really encompass all adullts..
