i think that the “hard facts” question in the pipe passage was tentative, not solid. wasn’t it asking how the author views the facts, so it wouldn’t be solid. it would be debatable.

I think correct depiction of state of affairs is the correct answer to that one.

I think the “noplace” one was author 1 would say it is accurate reflection of state of affairs (amusing exaggeration is pretty close though, but I don’t know if author 1 would find it really an exaggeration, and also it’s not an “unusual problem”)

any other thoughts?

Montage was one definitely more complete, but still inadequate.

another answer to jewelry question i believe was like, it didnt work because the middle class became more and more cultured, or something like that.

wasnt there an answer about being nature on the arts and crafts passage?

yup. natural images was an answer too

it was abstract ideas i thought…

so we have a few more that we agree??natural on the art and craft, accurate depiction on the autos one.i am sure on both of them and i also have checked them with my friends.

about the automobile section another question said smth about the 2nd paragraph of the 2nd passage.i was between mock a prevailin situation or describe a situation.can anyone help??

and another one i remember,in the art and craft text one of the last questions asked why did the movement fail or sth like that??i put becaus they diddnt market their products right??

natural images would mean to depict something from nature.

HOwever, in the passage it said about abstract lines and curves, therefore talking about abstract ideas…

That’s what i think.

about the automobile section another question said smth about the 2nd paragraph of the 2nd passage.i was between mock a prevailin situation or describe a situation.can anyone help??
?

what were the choices…

and what was the exact question.

But it said it used images from nature, such as its natural lines and curves.

The answer could have been natural images and possibly abstract images, but not abstract IDEAS.

my 2 cents.

Monkey natural images is correct. The passage stated that “Designs derived from natural forms” and went on to state some crap from nature.

What were other choices for the “Appreciative” SC? Or context?

about the automobile section another question said smth about the 2nd paragraph of the 2nd passage.i was between mock a prevailin situation or describe a situation.can anyone help??
?

what were the choices…

and what was the exact question.

it asked what was the author doing in the 2nd paragraph where he discussed the negative side of cars.i put mock a prevailing situation because his tone was quite ironic.

and what about the art and craft movement??was the answer “because they failed to market the products right”?

do you guys remember what other choices there were for the question w/ answer “IRREVERENT”?

His tone wasnt ironic at all. he was strightfoward, he was evenhanded. Not ironic.

And yes, they failed to market.

one was humorous certainly.

what about the magnanimous question??it was a sc.do u remember any other answe choices
