for the question with 3 consecutive numbers...... wouldnt the answer be 0 for the ones digit.....becuase it was 9, 10, 11 and they were asking for the center one.....

right?....or am i just weird and read the question wrong

for the z= x-y+ 4 question....i think i got 4....but im not sure....if you gave me the second equation it would be easy to find out...lol

kbfunkymonkey, you did not read the question wrong....your answer is correct :)

kbfunkeymokey.........with 2-3 wrong you'd be in the range of 720-760 depending on the curve

thanks.....

i have one more question..... for the question where t = -2. ..... doesnt anyone remember the question?

I stated the question:

x+1/x = t, which of the possible can equal t if x is an integer.

so you try plugging in -1 and you get (-1)+(1/-1)=(-2)

something like that.

yea

x is an integer

x + 1/x = t, what is a value of t. t could be 2 or -2, but 2 wasn't an option.

what was the answer to (2x)^3y-(2X)^y? Was it A? Can anyone explain the tray one to me?

kbfunkymonkey

damn, i put 2 for that question T___T

YoungBuddhist, I believe the answer was C. [(2x)^2y][((2x)^y) - 1)]

The tray one basically asked you to add the two given values for the foods, and then subtract that from the total. The equation for the group type of problem is Total = GroupA + Group B - Both. They gave Total, Group A and Group B, and you had to solve for the Both. The anser was 11.

Thanks Flips

You forgot one where you had to find the missing triangle angle x, the answer was 65.

and i only missed one from your list, but probably 2 overall. What would that score be?

yes!! thanks kbfunkymonkey

what exactly was the problem with 1300 as the answer?

hahah.... i put 1 because 1 + 1/1 = 1.......lol.....arg im dumb.....im sick of get low 700s....i want that magical 800.....lol

im just gonna give up....dont wanna take the SATs anymore....its not like i need to improve my score....i just took it to try to get a 800 on math for personal pride....hahah

It really es you off coz in math 2-3 questions can get you down 70-80 points................... its like *!!

If (x^2-y^2) = 12 what can x-y equal?
I: 1
II: 2
III:4

A I only
B II only
C I and III only
D II and III only
E I, II, and III

B right?

Yea, two only. It can't be one because the difference between any squares is an odd number, and it can't be 4 because the difference is too small.

What was z for:

z=x-y+4
z=...
z=...

(last time I'll ask this )

^^^experimental..or so i believe
