So I took the SAT and I’m panicked. There was a lot of moving furniture and construction I think above our room and sniffling and stuff in the room. I have a tough time as it is (I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety disorders) so it was hard to concentrate. There are no more test dates and I’m freaking out! Do I speak with the college board?
You can try.
But it’s December. “Sniffling and stuff” is pretty hard to avoid. As is work on school buildings on weekends.
The reality is that no testing location is going to be absolutely free of distractions-- so it’s a level playing field for all those students who take exams.
The kids who took the August exam dealt with heat. The kids who took it in October dealt with the same sniffling, and probably the sound of leaf blowers, likewise the November exam. In June it was lawn mowers.
Such is life.
Did your anxiety diagnosis bring with it particular accommodations that weren’t met?
I have accommodations with my high school but never transferred with these tests. I took the ACT and decided last minute to try an SAT because it was hard to bring my score up, so I never had the time to apply
Or wasn’t informed of it or “simplicity” of it- mainly because my tutor said it would have taken extended amount of time to apply

Who was supposed to inform you?
On another thread a few days ago you said you got a 1570. Why are you even taking it again? And the next test date is too late if you’re a senior, so what exactly would you expect the College Board to do?
